Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
May 3 – 8, 2009

John Rohrer earned his scuba certification over 10 years ago and hasn’t dived since.
After I got certified a couple years ago he’s been talking about having a dive trip off
his boat in Ft. Lauderdale. I got him in the pool in February and he completed his
Scuba Tune-up and he’s been trying to find a date that works. One of the salesmen
for his company, Dennis McCaffrey is a very experienced diver and John invited him
too. John also wanted someone to stay on his boat while we were diving so he
invited my life-long friend (non-diver) Scot Adkins.

The boat we were planning on diving from needed to get prepped to transport back
to Lake Erie and John recently bought a new boat that he’s planning on leaving down
south year round. So, while we were planning on diving two days he had a lot of work
to do on the two boats. With my new jobs working for several different companies I
was able to work remotely and I set up an office onboard and had a fairly productive
work week. Dennis and Scot called on customers all day Monday. Scot was on the
phone nearly constantly during working hours. So, it wasn’t all play and no work for
any of us. However, it WAS one of the best work weeks ever.

Thanks John.
